I believe that manufacturing should be at the core of any society. Identifying needs, building products, creating value are what drive me every day. I am the co-founder of ASYTEC, a manufacturing company based in France with a factory in China. After nearly 20 years and hundreds of products brought to market successfully, ASYTEC is a seasoned team of 100+ dedicated people who manufacture quality products across industries. I am based in Malta to take a step back from the day-to-day running of operations. I ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible and I look to the future to steer the boat in the right direction. I am passionate about creating beautiful products that are used by people every day, making their lives easier, more comfortable, or more enjoyable. I relish creating something from scratch, living diverse experiences, attaining a sense of fulfilment in my life, and building meaningful relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers. I hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and have a deep affection for math, physics, and engineering. My life has been enriched by a multicultural environment, having lived in France, South America, China, and now Malta. I have successfully built a multimillion-euro company from the ground up. With the help of my business partners, I managed a 5000m² factory with over 100 employees and served customers across 40 countries. I spent 13 years in China and 10 years between Malta and France. I value rationality and impartiality and have a penchant for intellectual debates in the scientific and technological fields. Being fiercely independent, open-minded, strong-willed, and imaginative, I approach many aspects of life from a utilitarian perspective, prioritizing what works over what is popular. From helping to build a school in the townships of Cape Town in my younger years, to kitesurfing, to restoring old cars, I am not afraid to get my hands dirty during my free time. I am the proud father of a teenage daughter and tqo beautiful stepdaughters and am happily married to an amazing and supportive wife. Do you have a product to bring to market?
